"Bed Head"

Well, I'm having issues uploading photos on here from my lap top ... I know it has to do with dialup, so I'm skipping a few things I want to blog about yet, and I'll add them later. We've signed up for highspeed, so I'm anxiously awaiting installation!
These photos I put on my other computer, which oddly seems fine with slowly uploading them.

The boys bought a Guinea Pig! He's got some crazy hair going, and it's only going to get longer and crazier, so they've named him 'Bed Head'!
If you've read my post about our luck with pets, you'll understand how much I'm wanting this little guy to work out... and on day two now, Dustin and I are forgetting we even have a pet (a very good sign!) but they boys are thrilled they have something to cuddle and love. They rushed home to take turns holding him, and are sitting and watching tv with him.
(he just peed on Brad! heehee, even with a towel under him, it went mostly on Brad!)

The boys pooled their money they earned from selling toys at our garage sale this last weekend to buy him, so Dustin and I are really hoping it will help them to feel more responsible for him from the beginning. The cage and starter supplies we found at another person's garage sale, so that was awesome to get it second hand! Saved us a lot of money!
