Freezer Crack

Yep, you read that right, "Freezer Crack". Here's a recipe that my sister-in-law Sheri gave me. She raved about it so much that I just had to make it and try it myself. And true to the name she's given it (no idea what it's actually called!) it's crazy yummy, and highly addictive!

Freezer Crack
-Enough saltine crackers to cover the bottom of a cookie sheet
-1 cup margarine/butter
-1 cup of brown sugar

-1/2 cup chocolate chips

-Pre arrange crackers on cookie sheet. Parchment paper is optional underneath. I used wax paper and I don't recommend it, I'm peeling it off in shreds now. Next time I'll just put it right on the pan.
-Boil the margarine and brown sugar for a minute or two.
-Pour over crackers and spread it around evenly.
-Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot sugar mixture. Let it sit for a moment and then spread them around a little too.

Freeze. Once frozen, break into pieces. Store in the freezer.

IT'S SOOOOO GOOD!

I think Tricia Yearwood had this recipe (or something similar) in her cookbook she was promoting on The View. It seems very familiar to one that I looked over at a friend's who had a copy of it. Regardless, it's seriously good. You really need to make it!
